Genetic Analysis of Rainbow Trout From the Big Wood River and Trail Creek, Blaine County, Idaho. by R.N. Williams and D.K. Shiozawa
The objectives of this study were to (1) determine if either the Lower Big Wood River or Trail Creek populations could be identified as native interior rainbow trout, and (2) determine if genetic characteristics of hatchery rainbow trout (primarily of costal rainbow origin), west slope cutthroat trout or Yellowstone cutthroat trout were present in the sample populations.
